OLIVERS HILL III

Picture
The drive down Olivers Hill never gets old for me. There is something truly special about this place that never fails to inspire me. As I wind my way down the road, the anticipation builds, and when I finally reach the viewpoint, it's like stepping into another world. The view from Olivers Hill is nothing short of spectacular. The vast expanse of the ocean stretching out before me, the way the sunlight dances on the water, and the distant horizon where the sky meets the sea – it's a sight that takes my breath away every time.

But it's not just the visual beauty that moves me. It's the memories that flood my mind as I stand there, memories of happy times spent with loved ones, of laughter and joy. It's as if this place holds all of those moments, and in that moment, they come rushing back to me. And it's this flood of emotions and memories that I channel into my linocut artworks. I pick up my tools and start carving, letting the joyous colors flow onto the canvas. Each stroke, each mark, is an expression of the happiness I feel in that moment, a way of capturing the essence of Olivers Hill. Through my art, I hope to share a piece of this special place with the world, to convey the beauty, the memories, and the happiness that it brings me. Olivers Hill is not just a view; it's my muse, my source of inspiration, and my sanctuary of joy. Billy Nye
