This is one of my favourite views of Mornington. I especially love the hollowed out dead tree in the foreground. At sunset the Red Cliff lights up and the entire bay glistens.
My work begins with taking a brilliant photograph, I then have to reverse that image to draw onto a piece of Lino. The cutting process takes some time, then comes printing on the press and my favourite part hand-painting in the colour with fine art inks.
The process enables me to have a limited edition and to hopefully make many people who appreciate this view an opportunity to enjoy my art.
