THE BEACH

"The Beach" is a hand-painted linocut print that beautifully captures the expedition to the remote back beaches of the Peninsula. The prominent Arthurs Seat and its overpasses stir nostalgic recollections of my youth, when weekends couldn't come fast enough for our parents to transport us to the waves of Gunnamatta or Point Leo shores. As time has advanced, this coastal journey still evokes memories of sun-soaked, endless days spent on those very surf-kissed beaches.
