Carol and Sally made their own Lino Cut Chritmas Cards yesterday. We experimented with techniques, mostly reduction . However by the end of the day we decided that black did not look good on a Chrissy card and so decided to leave the cards red only. Nearly out the door and all packed up Carol and i decided to add a little Christmas Cheer and added some sparkle with glue and glitter. The results put a smile in Carols face. Thats all the Christmas i need this year, something made with love that made someones spirit sing. Now its beginning to look a bit like Christmas!
In between teaching printmaking, I work in an art shop. I am also currently studying for my BA in Fine Art and Visual Culture. Time is precious and in between entering shows and looking after a family, I find my Blogging isn't regular. If you do happen to stop by than please make a comment. I would love to hear from you. I enjoy helping people with their printmaking endevours. Look for me on Facebook. Peninsula Printmakers Group and Australian Printmakers Group. All are welcome to join.
